Best Factory Awards finalists revealed

The 14 manufacturers who will fight for silverware at the Best Factory Awards (BFAs) 2011 have been revealed.

The BFA shortlist includes optics manufacturer Carl Zeiss NTS' Cambridge site and inks manufacturer Fujifilm Speciality Inks Systems' Broadstairs plant.

The shortlisted company's manufacturing sites will compete for individual awards categories including the Energy & Environment Award and People Management prize at the BFAs next month.

One of the 14 manufacturers (full list at the bottom of this story) will walk away with the coveted overall prize of BFA Factory of the Year 2011.

The winners will be announced at the BFA Awards on 30 September at the Park Lane Hotel, London.

Tickets are selling out fast with early bird discounts only available for bookings made in the next few weeks.
